Just days before the year's first Roseau County Board meeting this past Tuesday, there wasn't any doubt that District 4 County Commissioner Kermit Jensen would be handed the gavel as the Chair of the 2025 Roseau County Board of Commissioners.
"It's Kermit's turn," said Mr. Swanson, noting that Daryl Wicklund will be the vice chair.
He added that it is the annual rotating format with Commissioner Wicklund scheduled to be the 2026 Roseau County Chairperson.
Reached earlier by cellphone, Swanson was asked if he was vacationing in Hawaii.
He laughed.
