Georjean was born July 12, 1936 to George William and Jennie Albertine (Thompson) Wickstrom in Skagen Township, Roseau County. On August 2, 1936 she was baptized into the Christian faith at Oiland Lutheran Church and confirmed July 23, 1950 at Moe Lutheran Church, Roseau. She graduated from Roseau High School in 1954 and then completed one year of college. Georjean was united in marriage with Garold “Gary” Einar Johnson on December 2, 1956. They had two children Kris and Scott.
