This was the last big weekend overnight of the regular season and the team continued their winning weekend play, picking up two wins against Class AA teams. In a Section 8A triangular in Crookston on Tuesday, Aug. 20th, Roseau faced two Section 8A rivals in Crookston and East Grand Forks. She is a sophomore and was asked the number of goals she scored. "I got three goals and two assists." She briefly chuckled before adding that she got one penalty. He had won the 145 pound title, one year after he had been the 138-pound runner-up and headed to his first state wrestling tournament at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. On Tuesday, February 6, the girls toppled Sartell/Sauk Rapids, 9-1, in the Class 2A, Section 8 quarterfinals at Roseau Memorial Arena. That set up a meeting between the Lady Rams and Brainerd/Little Falls, on Saturday, February 10, in semifinal action. It was Roseau, emerging victorious, 3-2.
