Roseau - Alma G. Heskin passed away peacefully on August 20, 2016 at LifeCare Roseau Manor.

She was born on June 23, 1922 to Gilbert and Ida (Elton) Skogstad of Roseau and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Alma grew up in Pinecreek and attended Roseau High School. From 1943 to 1945, Alma served in the U.S. Navy (WAVES) where she was stationed at Arlington, Virginia in the Bureau of Personnel as part of the 13th regiment.
