Badger - George passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016.

George W. Nelson was born on July 19 1936 to Obert and Laura (Linert) Nelson in Stokes Township. He graduated from Badger high school in 1955. After high school George entered the United States Army and served in the motor pool in Germany during the occupation of WWII. When he returned to Badger he ran the Texaco Station until his employment at Borgen Implement in 1960; there he worked as a mechanic for 30+ years until his retirement.
