After the opening two weeks of the season, Roseau's varsity tennis team is 5-2 and ranked #9 in the first State Class A Coaches' Poll. Both losses have come at the hands of Class AA teams. The second week of the season saw the Rams play five head-to-head matches.
The week started with two very important Section 8A wins to begin Roseau's defense of their 2016 Section 8A championship. The girls outworked Crookston for a 6-1 victory that included two wins in tiebreakers.
