10UB Girls go 0-3-1 at home

The Girls got a break from traveling this cold January weekend with three home district games. The first game was against an evenly matched East Grand Forks team. EGF got out to a 4-0 lead, before Rayne Monkman broke the scoring on a passing setup from Abby Simmons and Britta Bunke. The girls tried to draw some inspiration from the Ram boys the previous night starting the third period down 4-1. Despite a couple of “scramble-out-front” goals from Britta Bunke (from Renn Ginther) and Martine Reese (from Brekka Lang and Maia Moberg). The girls fell short in a 7-3 loss.
