Roseau- Patricia Ann Burkel-Haugen, age 80, of Roseau, passed away on October 18, 2020 at LifeCare Roseau Manor, surrounded by her family.

Patricia was born on December 11, 1939 in Scobey, Mont. to Pete and Nettie Tkachyk. She grew up in Scobey and moved to Greenbush as a young girl. She married Robert Burkel Sr. They raised turkeys until Robert's death in 1992. Patricia worked for "Across the Street" in Badger for many years. The last six years, she has resided in Roseau.
