Varsity team heading to Prior Lake State Tournament: Gil Finney, Teagan Sorrels, Henry Finney, Tate Dale and Jazmine Dirks
After battling gale force winds at last year's Championship, the Roseau High School Clay Target team returned to the Alexandria Shooting Sports Park looking for redemption and a berth in the state trap Tournament. The Minnesota Trap Shooting Championship is the world's largest, spanning nine days in Alexandria. For 2023, the Rams were placed in Conference 4A, with 29 student athletes shooting on Thursday June 15. Of the 340 teams competing in the Championship, only the top 40 qualify for the State tournament in Prior Lake the following week.
