Abila, Calif.- Marie E. Rosenwasser passed away on June 7, 2023, from a heart attack at the age of 81. Born April 19, 1942, to parents Helen and George Johnson of Falun Township in Roseau County, Marie grew up as an active, energetic child and young adult, who excelled in school and 4-H. In eighth grade she won the Roseau County Spelling Contest and in high school she won the 4-H Radio Speaking Contest. She graduated from Roseau High School as the valedictorian in 1960. She enjoyed learning, achieving goals, and being a responsible family, school, and community member.
