Warroad- Michael Gary Tveit of Warroad, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on July 21, 2023. He was only 38. The loss felt by his death is eclipsed only by the joy he brought to others during his life.

Born on September 18, 1984, in Roseau, Michael grew up with a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and valued time at the cabin with his dad, sons, nephews, brothers-in-law and his beloved dogs Tuuk and Warrior. The rink was his second home.
