This has been a great season for the Warroad Bantam A Boys hockey team, who won the State Championship on Sunday, March 17 at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia, Minn. Warroad's first tournament game was with Mankato on Friday, March 15, with Warroad coming out on top with a final score of Warroad 6, Mankato 2.
On Saturday March 16, Warroad played St. Louis Park, winning their second tournament game 6-3. Then on Championship Sunday, Warroad Bantam A's beat Hopkins 3-0, scoring three times late in the third period.
