    In a week with only one contest on the schedule, Roseau's varsity match in Moorhead on Thursday, Sept. 19th was especially significant. Not only did the Rams get to play against a very good Spuds team, they were able to do it in front of an Internet-TV audience as the game was live-streamed on spuds.tv.   • Roseau Junior High Tennis Competes Hard

    In the first few weeks of September, Roseau's junior high tennis players ramped up their schedule and played a number of matches. After a few summer weeks with many practices to get prepared, the girls were very successful in their team matchups. The month started with a weekend trip to Virginia and the indoor Quad Cities Tennis facility.     Roseau at Underwood The Roseau Rams football team traveled to Underwood, on Friday the 13th. That didn’t bode well for the Rams as they fell to the Underwood Rockets 44-8. The Rams defense couldn’t withstand the machine-like Full House, Double Tight offense of the Rockets as they kept the ball the majority of the game and garnered 24 first downs compared to Roseau’s 8.     Question: I was told the fine for passing a school bus, when the red lights are activated and the stop arm is extended, had recently increased. Answer: In 2017, the fine for a school bus stop arm/red lights violation increased from $300 to $500 here in Minnesota.
