Always, there are no free rides when these cross-county rivals meet in any venue.
On Tuesday afternoon at Gilbertson Field in Roseau, Logan Wallace, the Warriors' senior pitcher who throws smoke and even the kitchen sink, was a one-man wrecking crew through the first 3 innings.
In the top of the 1st inning after Jade Cole reached base on an error, Mr. Wallace was having nothing to do with Mr. Cole getting sunburned while standing on base.
Credit Logan with a fine hit, scoring Jade, and the Warriors led, 1-0.
