Last weekend at Monticello High School, Roseau freshman Chandler Mooney, a member of the Frontier Wrestling Club in Thief River Falls, competed in two days of wrestling - on Saturday in the Greco competition and on Sunday in the Freestyle competition.

During Saturday's Greco competition, which is mainly upper body throws, Chandler wrestled five matches.

He opened with a 3:22 fall over Tyler Shackle and then won on a 10-0 technical fall over Colton Borah.
