Baseball Rams end regular season, 9-9

 


It has been a tough run in a four-day stretch as the Rams have lost four straight to finish at .500 for the regular season.

Against the Northern Freeze in Karlstad on Tuesday, the Rams took a 5-3 lead in the top of the 7th inning.

Then came the bottom of the 7th, and the fat lady was just starting to warm up for the home team.

"We got the first out before they loaded the bases and the kid hit the grand slam," said coach Tracey Wensloff, who laughed when asked what he was thinking at that exact moment.
