Golfing lads are 4th in two-day tourney

At the Pre-Section Meet on courses in Park Rapids and Bemidji last weekend, the Rams finished in the middle of the pack.
After the first day, they were in 5th place as Alec Severson and Bryden Stoskopf shot 85s, followed by Gus Vatnsdal (86), Blake Bjerklie (87), Tal Halliday (88) and Izaak Olson (89).
Playing in Bemidji on Saturday, the Rams improved slightly to finish overall in 4th place.
Crookston and East Grand Forks finished 1st and 2nd and got the tip of the cap from head coach Mike Lundbohm.
"They're the best in our section for sure," he said on Sunday.
