Golfing lads battle through tough weather and more

 


Last Friday, the Rams competed in the Thief River Falls Invitational, an event that was cancelled after 12 holes.

Because of snow!

"Everybody played at least 9 holes," said coach Mike Lundbohm. "We ended up in 2nd, losing to Crookston by 5 shots."

He noted that since they were supposed to play 18, it was a non-event.

On Saturday, at the Oakcrest Golf Course in Roseau, nine teams competed in the Roseau Invitational.

Ordinarily, the Rams play tough on their course, but Crookston took top honors with 314, followed by Thief River Falls (317), East Grand Forks (326) and Roseau (331).
