Coach Donny Johnson had three girls qualify to the Section 8AA golf tournament in Bemidji this past Monday and Tuesday, but only two competed.

"Ellice Murphy was in a qualifying tournament for hockey out in Vermont," he said.

Josee Lundgren shot a 92 on Monday and a 95 on Tuesday for a 187 while Gina Wensloff shot an 89 and a 90 for 179.

"There were six teams and 12 individual girls competing," he said, adding that only one team goes to State.
