On June 17 the Roseau Lady Rams JV basketball team headed down to a four team tournament hosted in Hawley. The tournament was a round robin format. All three games were played back to back to back with just 10 minute breaks between each game. The games were 18 minute running half's with stop time only in the last minute of the 2nd half. In the first game of the tournament the Lady Rams defeated a section 8AA opponent in Pelican Rapids 37-35. The Rams found themselves in another battle but pulled it out with some clutch plays down the stretch of the game to defeat Park Christian 33-32. In the last game the Lady Rams played the Moorhead Spuds. The Rams had a strong showing in this game especially in the 2nd half and defeated the Spuds 49-32 for the championship.
