Thune & rain lead Men's Golf League

 


Another Wednesday at Oakcrest Golf Course and nothing has changed.

It rained again, and the Thune Insurance Team is leading the league's first half, which concludes next Wednesday.

"We could only play the Back 9," said Mark Wilson, the league's bookie who would appreciate a drought.

After it rained almost two-thirds of an inch between noon and 4 p.m., the front nine was a wash-out.

But there were 3 winners.

Shooting the low gross on the Back 9 was Will Czeh, who shot an even par 35. Earning low net honors after his handicap was figured in was Jason Guy with a 31.
