It was a doubleheader sweep by the BGMR American Legion team at Borgen Field in Greenbush on Tuesday evening.

BGMR won the first game, 3-0.

"We just couldn't hit the ball," said coach Josh Weckman about the 7-inning contest.

He credited Logan Monsrud with pitching a good game for Roseau.

"He didn't allow a single earned run, but here's the stat that sticks out to me the most," he said.

"We were zero for nine in the 1st game with runners in scoring positions. That's not getting the job done."
