Legion team goes unbeaten in Ely Tourney

Roseau Post 24 would have played 4 games at the Ely DQ Grill and Chill Legion Classic last weekend, but the weather on Saturday precluded that.
They got in just one game last Saturday because of inclement weather.
On Friday, they stormed past Deer River, 12-2, with Logan Monsrud leading the pack with 3 RBIs while Willie Woolever had a fine game with 3 hits and 2 RBIs, including a triple and 2 stolen bases.
Pitching a complete game for the win was Logan Monsrud, who gave up 6 hits, 2 runs, 8 walks, and struck out 5.
