Royals hold off Muskies, 7-6

 


At Tony Stukel Field in Warroad on Tuesday evening, Skipper Nate Voll knew that he and his players had been in a ballgame against the Warroad Muskies.

"We were up 7 to 2 at one time, but they just kept chipping away at us," said Voll about the amateur baseball contest between the two county rivals that is akin to a meeting between the Hatfields and McCoys.

What a ballgame!

The Royals were leading 7-3 going into the bottom of the 9th inning and apparently had it in the bag.

They had been having a great game.
