Excess rains have proved challenging for agriculture the past two months. Areas within the Roseau, Lake of the Woods, and Koochiching counties have definitely suffered crop losses. Many livestock producers have reported the difficulties of getting forage put up, some fields have yet to be cut. At this time it is difficult to project average crop potential. It would be safe to say crop results will vary greatly across the three counties similar to that of the Clint Eastwood movie “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”.
