This annual event at Oakcrest Golf Course brings in both the heavy hitters and the good eaters.

There were very few jockeys out on Oakcrest on Saturday. But they all donated to helping the Roseau Youth Hockey Association, which is like the Goodwill for local youth hockey. Each golfer paid $75 to compete.

Bryan Lundbohm, one of the organizers, noted that they raised close to $15,000 after the payouts.

"It's really quite a phenomenal day when you think that you can earn that much in one day on the golf course," he said.
