Roseau Tennis Picks Up Important Section 8A Wins

The Roseau Girls' Tennis team hit the ground running at the beginning of the season. The team capped the first week of practice with the 3rd annual North/South Challenge Quad in Park Rapids on Friday, August 19th. The tournament featured two teams from last year's State Tournament, Minnewaska and Crookston, and two Class AA teams, Mound-Westonka and Thief River Falls. The Rams played well against strong competition. They beat Aitkin 7 – 0 before losing to Pine City 6 – 1 and Mound-Westonka 5 – 2.
