Volleyball Rams earn split

For the casual observer, the Lady Rams looked to be in the driver's seat after winning the first two games in their home opener on Monday evening in defeating Kittson County Central, 25-23 and 25-23.

But the KCC squad has Ram head coach Becky Hayden's respect.

"They're a strong Class A team, and we knew it would be a battle," she said afterwards, adding that her girls were having problems with too many net violations.

"KCC missed a lot of serves, so that kind of equaled out," she said.

But KCC was just getting warmed up as they won the 3rd and 4th games - 25 to 12 and 25 to 19.
