Roseau County Sheriff Steven J. Gust released information regarding a high speed vehicle pursuit that occurred in Roseau County of September 8, 2016 at approximately 2:19 a.m.

The incident started southwest of the City of Warroad on County Road #35 and ended South of Warroad on the Lund Forest Road in Clear River Township.

A Roseau County Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop the suspect vehicle on County Road #35 for a suspected drunk driver when the vehicle fled at speeds in excess of eighty miles per hour.
