With the July and August rains came new weed flushes and difficult opportunities to harvest the wheat crop. There are fields, especially in the northwest portion of Polk County that are still too wet to try and harvest. Producers that used glyphosate as a harvest aid, may still have a problem with weed regrowth, especially due to weed resistance concerns.
