Last Saturday in Ada, the Lady Rams won the 1st Annual Ruth Hayden Tournament of Roses, recently renamed for the veteran Ada-Borup coach who is now retired.

Playing in Pool C, the Rams had to fight their way through three games to win their pool.

Nothing came easy.

BGMR defeated the Rams in the opening set, 25-23, and then the girls dug in and won the next two sets, 25-22 and 15-5.

Next, they went 3 sets against Stephen-Argyle, winning 26-24, losing 23-25, and winning the tiebreaker, 15-9.

Against Fisher-Climax, they dominated in winning 25-18 and 25-12.
