Fired-Up and Patriotic Lady Rams Volleyball Fans
At the two-day Minnesota Class 2A Showcase at the Midwest Volleyball Warehouse in Burnsville last weekend, the Lady Rams faced their stiffest competition to date.
"We knew it would be a tough tournament, and that's why we like to go down there," said head coach Becky Hayden, adding that they saw southern Minnesota teams, metro teams, and northern Minnesota teams.
"They are some of the best 20 teams in our class," she said.
At 4 p.m. on Friday, the Rams defeated New Life Academy of Woodbury, 25-21 and 25-20.
In the Friday evening game, Kasson-Mantorville defeated the Rams, 32-30 and 25-20.
