It was over early, similar to the feeling when you're coming down with the flu and your birthday is the next day.

That was what happened at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls on Wednesday evening as the Moorhead Spuds, the top seed in Section 8AA, thoroughly dominated the Roseau Rams, the 3rd seed.

There were a number of reasons why it didn't turn out favorably for the Rams, starting with a Moorhead offense that just unloaded on starting goalie Willie Woolever.
