It was quite the Old Timers' Holiday on Ice

On Friday afternoon during the first of three days of the 5th Annual Bruce Olson Old Timers Hockey Tournament at Roseau Memorial Arena, Vivian Egged, 88, smiling and pushing a walker, claimed that she had skated faster than the elementary school lads when she was a teacher a lifetime ago.
"I'm here to cheer on my grandson, Jared Nelson," she declared.
Later, she would look skyward as the Malung Mustangs took charge in the 3rd period to defeat her grandson's team, the Black Beauties, 13-9, in the North Rink.
Over in Memorial Arena, Brad Zoeller was getting ready to do another stint on the Zambo...
