On Monday in their season opener, Roseau American Legion Post #24 hosted Stephen-Argyle at Gilbertson Field in a doubleheader that saw the Legion lads shine in the opening game, winning 4-3, thanks to scoring solo runs in each of the first 4 innings.

Winning pitcher Adam Hedlund went the distance as he threw a 5 hitter and struck out 10 while getting timely hitting from Bryce Johnson, Brennan Bordun, and Jonah Huglen.

Head coach Josh Weckman had no complaints afterwards.
