Dale places 12th at State Clay Target Tourney

Last Saturday, Brett Dale only let two birds get by him in adverse weather conditions that bordered on gale winds at times.

Mr. Dale, a recent Roseau High School graduate whose accuracy with a 12-gauge shotgun is as close to perfection as a 10 is in gymnastics, blasted 98 out of 100 clay targets at the state clay target championship at the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake.

He shot rounds of 25, 24, 25, and 24 to rank in the top of the state.
