Over at Gilbertson Field on Sunday afternoon, the Roseau Royals senior amateur baseball team took it to the Crookston Reds, winning both ends of a doubleheader

In the opener, it was scoreless until the bottom of the 4th inning when the Royals finally got to Matt Morin, taking a 1-0 lead.

Then, it was basically the Royals as they scored 6 in the bottom of the 5th and 3 in the bottom of the 6th to cruise to a 10-1 victory.

Kenny Hayden was the RBI leader for the Royals with 4, and he had a fine supporting cast as Chanc Keefe homered and TJ Erickson and Nathan Voll also had an RBI apiece.
