Royals head into the playoffs

With a recent three-game stretch beginning at Warroad, the Royals improved to 11 & 5 and will face the Crookston Reds at 1 p.m. in Bemidji on Saturday, August 5.

A week ago Thursday, the Royals never trailed as the closest the Muskies got to making it a game was closing the gap to 3-2 in the bottom of the 2nd inning.
The RBI leaders for the Royals were Nathan Voll (4), Spencer Sabourin (3), Skylar Forst (3), Jared Nelson (1), and Drew Olsonawski (1).
Starting and winning pitcher Gabe Carlson went 5 innings while giving up 2 runs and 2 walks with 3 strikeouts.
