Last Friday evening at Halvorson Field, the Roseau Rams hosted Pelican Rapids in a game that couldn't have been closer.

Both teams scored a touchdown, but only one team converted on the extra point attempt, which spelled the difference.

After a scoreless first half, the Pelican Rapids Vikings got on the scoreboard, compliments of a 60-yard TD pass from Oakley Kress to Jacob Gottenborg at the 11:19 mark of the third period.

After a successful two-point conversion run by James Furry, the Vikings led, 8-0.
