Sheriff's Department adds two new deputies

A week ago Tuesday at the Roseau County Board meeting, the Commissioners approved the hiring of two part-time deputies in addition to upgrading the status of Deputy Sheriff Devin Corneliusen, an temporary hire for the past couple of years.
Corneliusen will now be classified as a regular part-time deputy sheriff.
The Board approved the hiring of Orlando Peralta, who served as a Polk County deputy sheriff and is the co-owner of the Dairy Queen in Roseau, and Chancey Gust, who is presently a college student majoring in law enforcement.
