Fans of pop-punk band Summertime Dropouts, whose lead singer is RHS Class of 2007 graduate Dave Erickson, will be pleased to hear their favorite band has inspired a feature film by the same name. Summertime Dropouts was filmed during August and September in Owatonna, Minn. and captures a band's story about a group of friends following their passion for music and an opportunity to play on Warped Tour, the largest rock tour traveling the U.S. annually since 1995.
