Roosevelt Mayor Volunteers For Renewal & Remembrance

On July 15, Roosevelt Mayor Gerald Landby, along with hundreds of landscape professionals and their families from throughout the country, gathered at Arlington National Cemetery for National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) 23rd annual Renewal & Remembrance day of service. Over 500 volunteers split into teams to mulch, spread lime, aerate the soil, upgrade sprinklers, install pavers, prune, cable and install lighting protection for trees and plant flowers.
