There were huge tracks in the snow on the very edge of my yard and garden one day. Later my neighbor, Eric Morey, stopped here with a letter from the Roseau Post Office addressed to my maiden name! He had news about the bear which had passed through his yard and mine and on through Salol early that morning. He’d captured a picture on his phone.
