A Passionate Superintendent Jerome Pulls No Punches

"What do people want to know?" said Roseau School Superintendent Tom Jerome on Monday afternoon with an edge to his voice.

The question he was then asked was if there is an infected kid in a classroom, how many kids in that classroom are going to have to stay home for 10 days?

"It's not 10, it's 14 days," he said, adding that it will vary depending on the situation.

"We follow the Minnesota Department of Health guidelines, and anyone who is within six feet for a cumulative total of 15 minutes throughout the course of the day is defined as a close contact."
