It has been said that, "We are not what we think we are, but what we think we are!" What do you think?

This earthly observation echos the King James translation of Proverbs 23: 7: "for as he, (a man) thinketh in his heart so is he." Now most translators of the Hebrew language do not view this as an accurate rendering of the Hebrew language. But! But! I for one do not want to lose the message the KJV portrays here. The fact of the matter is that life bears witness to the truth of it. Can you relate?
