Last Saturday, the 2021 ALS Walk/Run ran like clockwork at Halvorson Field in Roseau.

Working as the public address announcer, Jack Swanson could have been announcing the Olympics, singling out runners for their superb efforts.

"Here comes Gracie running a beautiful sprint!" he said, and little Gracie Hayden broke into a huge smile.

It was a remarkable family reunion after last year's virtual event. They were in living color this time and decked out in their favorite team t-shirts.
