Roseau native Deanna "Dee" Decimus Holmes talks fast, so hang onto your helmet.

Yes, it's been her dream after earning her master's degree in sports administration from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.

Dee, the daughter of Vangie and Robert Byfuglien, is 39 and a 2001 Roseau High School graduate.

"I earned my bachelor's degree in Recreation Sports Management at St. Cloud State University," she said in early April.

With the B.A. and then the M.A., she was on her way.
