A pie and ice cream social to celebrate the grand opening of downtown Warroad's newest mixed-use buildings, which capture historic charm while adding a modern twist will be held Friday, August 11 at

4:30 to 6 p.m.

At 5 p.m. there will be a short program and ribbon cutting.

It is being held on Main Ave. in

Downtown Warroad.

This redevelopment consists of commercial space available for lease on the first floor, and seven market-rate apartments on the second floor which are at full occupancy. Annie's Trading Post is the first commercial tenant, with others to follow.

The celebration is an outdoor, picnic-style event with free-will donations accepted for the Warroad Area Community Fund
