Michael Gary Tveit of Warroad passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Friday, July 21st, at the age of 38.
A visitation was held in Michael's honor at Zion Lutheran Church in Warroad on Sunday, July 30th with 400 plus attending. The Memorial Service was held on Monday, July 31st, at The Gardens Arena, where all seats were filled.
The eulogy was given by fellow hockey coach and friend, Jay Hardwick, who Michael coached alongside for eight years. The following excerpts are from Jay's heartfelt eulogy.
