Darlene Smith has dreamed of skydiving for most of her life. She had planned to skydive when she was 75, but her plans fell through. This year she decided it was now or never.

"I did some research and discovered there were businesses in Fargo and Duluth-Superior that offered skydiving," said Darlene. "I decided I'd rather have a view of Lake Superior than a view of cornfields when I jumped from a plane."

Darlene, who resides at Warroad Senior Living Center, and her son Kevin Smith of Roosevelt, traveled to Duluth in their motorhome the night before the jump was scheduled...
